Denmark came across as a very trusting society. In the capital Copenhagen there was very little security around the Parliament areas or the home of the Royal Family. Throughout our stay in Denmark we noticed very little in the way of CCTV and felt very safe. We even went on a night watchman tour in Ribe, a traditional alternative to CCTV. I liked this sculpture and interpreted it as a society rejecting the big brother society that so many of us live in, in the west.
